It is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, used in poultry to treat respiratory tract infections (chronic respiratory disease CRD), gastrointestinal infections, reproductive tract infections (ovarian infections) and septicemia caused by micro-organisms sensitive to florfenicol such as: Pasteurella, Coryza, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, E.coli, Salmonella and Staphylococcus and Streptococcus.
